Making schools healthier places to learn necessitates a holistic strategy that incorporates a variety of interventions to ensure that students are ready for school. However, in order for school communities with limited resources to execute these interventions, they must be simple, long-lasting, and incorporated into existing systems. The method aims to enhance child health by institutionalizing a combination of modest, evidence-based preventative treatments, such as bettering WASH facilities, everyday hygiene practices, and basic nutrition instruction.
